Mindful Kettlebells.
Our kettlebell classes are essentially small-group personal training. You pay for a 10-class pass, you attend one or two classes a week and we give you homework for mobility and flexibility. We don’t limit ourselves to kettlebells; our classes incorporate primal bodyweight movements such as floor-based drills and breathing exercises.
The class is led by StrongFirst Elite Certified Instructor Colin Stewart, who is also certified in Original Strength, Groundforce Method and Flexible Steel. Colin draws from these related systems to lead a whole-body strength, conditioning and flexibility session.
Once you sign up for the classes you’ll be emailed a unique link the day before each class to allow you to sign-in and join on Zoom.
What you’ll need:
- An internet enabled laptop or mobile device to sign in with.
- A kettlebell (or two)!
- An exercise/yoga mat.
- A hand towel.
- Water bottle.
- A safe area to train in, approximately 2m x 2m,
- Make sure animals or young children are not able to disturb you.
Chalk/chalkballs/liquid chalk are also useful as they can help with grip, but aren’t mandatory.
Please also note that whilst it is incredibly rare (Colin has seen it happen 3 times in over 12 years of teaching professionally) it is possible for a student to lose control of a ‘bell. So please do not swing directly in-line with your laptop, TV, marble fireplace, etc.
